In May 2006 and in March and May of 2007, the ports in Olympia, Tacoma and Aberdeen, respectively, allowed ships to load military equipment and weapons for Iraq.
We all know that the war and years-long military occupation in Iraq violate U.S. law and international law in many ways. It violates the United Nations Charter, which prohibits starting aggressive wars.

American society – even a community as sweet and caring as Thurston County – has sharply mixed feelings about homelessness.
