Posted by Web Editor on June 13th, 2007

4 July 2007to8 July 2007

This second annual peace event in Castlegar, British Columbia Canada (north of Spokane) will provide an opportunity for those who came to Canada as war resisters during the Vietnam War to be reunited with those who assisted them in Canada. It features keynote presentations, workshops, discussions, on-stage theatre performances, a film festival, and a major peace concert. It also publicly launches the War Resisters of Foreign Wars, an international war resisters organization, with speeches by former Israeli Air Force captain Yonantan Shapira, US military war resister Kyle Snyder, and Our Way Home event director Isaac Romano.
