Rally outside Fort Lewis to support Lt. Ehren Watada

Posted by Web Editor on February 6th, 2007

5 February 2007

Monday 2/5/07: U.S. Army 1st Lieutenant Ehren K. Watada is the first commissioned officer to publicly refuse deployment to Iraq, because he believes the war and occupation are illegal. The U.S. Army is court martialing him, and is refusing to let him defend himself with testimony that the war and occupation are illegal. Watada’s supporters are rallying today (the first day of the court martial) outside the Fort Lewis gates. See www.ThankYouLt.org and www.WarTribunal.org.
