Prevent new prisons in Washington State

Thursday 2/8/07: The United States incarcerates more of its citizens than any other county. Prisons promote a military mentality. The “War on Drugs” is a war on people here in the U.S. For peace and justice, stop the wars and stop escalating prison growth. Begin right here in Washington State. 6:30 p.m., Cascade People’s Center, 309 Pontius Ave N, Seattle. (between I-5 and the Seattle Center, south of Mercer).
